Hunter Weeks, film maker 10mph

Hunter Weeks co-produced the movie 10mph chronicling a 4,000 mile journey across the US on a Segway. Weeks was in Lansing, Michigan for a special showing of his film.

We brought up two of our Segway's from Ypsilanti. Weeks hopped on to one of our Segway's for a quick spin. He said this was only the second time he had ridden a second generation Segway i2. He said his first time was just a couple of days before. Segway, you are missing an opportunity here. We gave lots of demos after the movie. Lots of folks told us they had never seen a Segway in person before.

Weeks was a gracious host and we had a great time. As he drove off to his next show in Cleveland, we couldn't help notice but the Jeep he was driving looked remarkably like the one in the movie from 2004.

CoPAC Picnic

The CoPAC city wide neighborhood picnic was a huge success and the Segway was a hit. For some reason Mayor Schreiber and Ward 2 rep John Gawlas were not interested in riding. But lots of folks were, we stayed an hour after the picnic ended still giving rides.

Depot Town Cruise Night

We had oodles of people that wanted to try out the Segway and we weren't able to keep up with all the names. So enjoy gliding in Depot Town on a beautiful Thursday night.
